A Batida is a Brazilian cocktail made with Cachaça, coconut milk and condensed milk, but we thought we’d try something a little different with our neighbours emacadamia spread and LWF Distilling White Rum.
This creamy cocktail is not too sweet due to the macadamia spread. Delicious roasted macadamia creamy mouthfeel, with the warming rum notes.
- 45ml LWF Distilling White Rum
- 2 teaspoons of eMacadamia Spread
- 2 teaspoons of sweetened condensed milk
- garnish – macadamia nut slices
Fill shaker with ice, add all the ingredients. Shake vigorously for 10 seconds. Sift into cocktail glass.
Garnish with sliced macadamia nuts. Enjoy
The traditional Batida is served in a tumbler full of ice. So if you don’t have a shaker, try blitzing everything but the ice in a food processor then adding the ‘milky’ mix to a tumbler full of ice.
